This is the one!

Mr A and I walked to the outskirts of town as I wanted to show him the new furniture shop (Shop) that opened a couple of months ago.   It was lovely to be able to have the time to go for a walk together even if my boots did rub my heels! during the day.  Well, he's always fancied a chair like this and he thinks he may have found the one (albeit he'd have it in a different colour)...now we just have to work out how we can fit it into the house!  Mind you, I did smile as the chair came in three sizes - this was a small one but the large was huge, no doubt built for those of a more ample girth.

Anyway, after a leisurely toddle around the store, we meandered over to the nearby Beefeater for a late lunch.  The only trouble was, after waiting for fifteen minutes the staff had still not acknowledged us, so we left and went to Frankie & Bennie's instead, where we were served immediately and thoroughly enjoyed a delicious meal.  I don't know what it is about the Guildford Beefeater, as we have had the same trouble on a previous occasion...perhaps our faces just don't fit or maybe we were wearing the wrong brand of footwear or something.  Hey ho.
