Pheasant!

Mrs P woke me up at 6:00am this morning to inform me that there was a 'big bird' in the garden... she would not let me rest until I captured it (on camera luckily!) 

The cats came to investigate and although it looked pretty well hidden they of course made a B-line for it's resting place... it flew away pretty sharpish... I think that it was a Female Pheasant... (I'm no expert) and certainly never seen one in our garden... it's a bit urban round these parts... it must have been lost :)
