Anyone for a slice?

This is my stunning birthday cake. It couldn't have been a more perfect design - I'm even depicted in my blue waterproof and if you look carefully, there is a rolling pin in front of me. How cute are the girls too! 

It seemed such a shame to cut it but once we did, it tasted delicious - top tier plain sponge and bottom layer chocolate sponge, held together with melt in the mouth butter/choc butter cream icing.

Thanks to Val, a colleague of Aldomak, who baked and decorated it.  What a talent she has. Maybe she should give up her day job!!
