Rain

transformed this area, which is light forest on an old dune, into swamp and several ponds. A total difference from last summer. I am always surprised that you can find so much water on top of sand dunes. I once learned why there is clay in the underground but I totally forgot how that could have come there.
Maggie did not care too much about the rain. For me it was rather one of the cold and unpleasant walks.
All the boxes are unpacked , now comes the fine tuning in terms of sorting through and toss what is not needed. But I will have many rainy days for that kind of work.
