The Clear Up

After a walk first thing this morning, we both embarked on jobs.

I tidied a long border in the front garden and Clive started to go through the kitchen cupboards in readiness for the new kitchen.

I am a sucker for crockery. I cannot resist it and have little stashes squirreled away in backs of cupboards and drawers (even upstairs).

It is hidden because the old man does not understand this obsession. Yesterday, I bought a set of 4 Melamine plates and beakers from Laura Ashley (30% off) and he's found them already!

I have been quizzed and questioned but he's happy with my reply that we've had them ages!

Phew!
