Been meaning to update the satnag for the best part of a year.
Software update needed before it will upgrade the maps...
Previously, en route to meeting my elder daughter for lunch in Redesdale, I segued into Bishop Auckland for a look-see. It is a once proud mediaeval town that has been on a bit of a slide, unfortunately, but there is good evidence of the mediaeval plots and street layout, plus the market place has been vastly upgraded and it is a good open space. Unfortunately, the advertised exhibition of miners art, open daily from 10am, still wasn't at 11....
However, above one of the several closed down premises on a mediaeval side street were some nice Victorian carvings (extras)
