Sleeping Hare
I presume, as I thought it was a rock in the middle of the field and didn't move till I went too close! It then raced off in that lollopy way hares do.
A lovely morning again, mild and sunny after an overnight frost.
Heard the first Skylarks up on the moor near the hare and notice they hide in the deep heather regrowth. Followed several from singing high up to dropping down and then disappearing among the tussocks!
