A lovely Sunday
It's been a glorious sunny day and we've spent it at Grace and John's house.
It's been a jobs day and the weather has been perfect for Chris to overhaul the garden. Grace and I have been preparing vegetables ready for the freezer for Eda as she starts trying solid foods. She's already 'tasting' things and starting to drink from a cup.
John made us a wonderful lunch and we were joined by Helen, Grace's friend who is having a baby in the summer. Her partner is visiting family in Brazil so she was on her own this weekend. We had good fun and food and Eda had a try at green beans!
It's been a two Granny day too. Granny Sue came this afternoon and brought a wonderful cake. This picture was taken shortly after we had eaten some of it and Eda is looking pretty happy even though she didn't get any.
Crisis tonight as it was so light at bed time. Eda is 6 months old on Wednesday and they are going to move her into her own room over the Easter weekend which has a blackout blind but this week she is going to be going to bed in daylight for the first time in mum and dad's much lighter room.
We all have to make adjustments to British summer time, I hope the weather does too!
(Just seen the Countryfile forecast, it's not looking good for the UK)
