A Beautiful Wedding

I went to a friend's wedding in Selsey and it was such a relaxed and happy day. They are the friends who run the Owl sanctuary whose owls I have blipped in the past.

In this photo the they are waiting for their Barn Owl called Wizard to fly down the aisle with their rings. Unfortunately, he started off towards them and then decided the rafters in this old church looked a lot more interesting, and that was where he stayed until later, when the Groom enticed him down with food. Luckily the Best Man had the real rings in his pocket, just in case.

The reception went on late into the evening after a lovely sit down meal, then a running buffet and bar. We all laughed and sang and danced until we could take no more and around 10pm we had to concede defeat and come home.
