Spring sunshine

A visit to the allotment today, I knew I couldn't put it off much longer.  Some general tidying up and some purple sprouting broccoli picked.  Thankfully not too much growth of weeds yet.

We have been fascinated by various birds coming into the garden recently and a couple of small birds have become general visitors.  Today we managed to eventually identify one as a female redstart see extra.  By this afternoon the sun came out in more ernest and visibility was fairly clear as can be seen from this shot of the nearby hills.
