Coot

Another lovely day.
Cafe church this morning and I was leading, I enjoyed it and hope the others did. We were a bit low on numbers, I think the clock change had an adverse effect on some.
Early afternoon I went for a wander by the ponds with the long lens on the camera and got a few nice effects of light on reeds etc. There weren't many birds on the ponds but this coot posed beautifully so won the competition for blipping.
Also saw first celandines.
This evening started knitting a lace shawl - twice! I think I got the hang of it the second time
