The Shiner

Lazy day today.  We nipped into Grimsby for a bit of shopping and lunch then home to watch a movie.  

I was surprised how many people avoided looking into my my eyes today, I presume because they were embarrassed about my eye, .  It was almost on the point of being rude when shop assistants serve you without even looking in your direction.  I bit my tongue, but could imagine what was running through their minds.  If they had asked I would have gladly told them about my little mishap with a two year old!!!

Pic on left was taken just before we went out, the one on the right was taken about lunch time.  it really is quite difficult to take a decent shot of your own eye with a phone!!!   I think it still need to got through the whole rainbow of colours that bruises do before it goes away, so that could be interesting.
