Glasgow

So it was a busy day as expected including a run through to Glasgow to take Ms H and pal to see youtube sensation Dodie. Sensibly, we sat this one out. 

Earlier in the week we thought we would go to the cinema in Renfrew Street but the fire in Sauchiehall Street resulted in it being closed for now... so Mrs C took us to see A Fantastic Woman at the Grosvenor. Although we have been round and round Byres Road and Great Western Road, this street has been missed by us until tonight. We had our dinner above The Gardener in the Grosvenor Cafe whose ceiling is the original cinema ceiling all old fashioned fancy and that. The cinema runs these eateries although the actual cinema halls are tiny compared to the rest of the building, but comfy leather seats.

Anyway, that was nice, and we arrived back at Dodieland in time to pick up the girls. And they got a selfie with Dodie's manager... what seriously?
