Ready For Work

The large amount of rain, for Marlborough a few days ago has added extra water to the Taylor River. So much so that the Omaka Ford got washed out again. This means we can’t get over to the true left bank. However this morning a nice bright digger has been trundled to the water’s edge. It is there to move shingle and rocks in order to repair the ford/river crossing.
We have had a brilliant sunny day here... more like summer than autumn.
