Sunshine and Daffodils
B and I had a bimble around NT Blickling this morning. It was a stunning early Spring day, the trees still bare and sculptural and plenty of native primroses and daffodils.
It was even warm enough in the sun to sit outside the ‘Muddy Boots Café’ for our cup of coffee. It was such a welcome sunny day after our long winter.
The extra is looking into the window of the restaurant which is mostly reflecting the portion of Blicking opposite.
Then it was back home for lunch and to help M with decorating the corridor and porch in our bungalow. He’d had a morning of sanding while I was out and so I helped by washing down the surfaces to be painted with sugar soap. A bit more filling of cracks and then we should be able to start painting…always the best bit...well, apart from completion of course!
