Cold

Up and out obnoxiously early to try and beat the snow so I wouldn't be late getting to Woking, but everything was delayed anyway and it felt like it took and impossible amount of time just to get on the train out of Waterloo. Even in Woking everything ground to a halt, but I attended my aunt's funeral and it was a fitting and gentle service for her.

The wake was not so gentle but no less fitting to remember her, the family all getting together in memory and getting blindingly drunk to boot. It kept snowing for most of the day and it was more than a little satisfying to crunch around in it.
