Roe deer

Seen close to the house. It's nice to see them in the field; I just wish they would stay out of the front garden!

I tried to photograph them yesterday evening too, and was disappointed that the shots were far from sharp. I don't usually have a problem holding lenses steady with image stabilisation. After experimenting this evening with and without a tripod, I think it might be a problem of focussing on bits of grass in the foreground, but I'm still not sure.
