Colours..

After finding a fantastic photographers book in Urban Outfitters a couple of weeks ago, and reading it cover to cover about 16 times, I have become quite interested in colour..

I've been messing about with my camera and capturing random colourful things..I would say 99.99% of these pictures have been rubbish and not worthy of a place on my memory card..(you might agree that this one probably fits in that bracket too) although I quite like this..I'm unsure as to why! Partially because all of the old Police boxes in Edinburgh are slowly being gobbled up by those that have privately purchased them, being turned into ice cream booths, and coffee stops (which is fine by the way, I like coffee and ice cream). But I have to say I do like the nostalgia of these old police boxes, and I wanted to capture one (or part of one) before people turn them all into multicoloured consumable vendors..

In my warped imagination I am pretending that this is an old police mans patrol bicycle propped up against this police box..and he is in fact inside consuming a sneaky bacon roll and having a cheeky snooze..
