Tree Loping

The tree lopers [a mispronunciation of my son's that seems apt] arrived today, providing a dramatic final chapter to the sorry story of our favourite tree!
We enjoyed the spectacle of seeing it come down, but would have enjoyed a stay in execution much more.

Second attempt at blip, thanks to site maintenance at just the wrong time, not much enthusiasm for it this time around
