Although we were in the car for only 8 hours today, compared to 10 hours yesterday, the drive was harder. That is because we hit California coast traffic - stop and go for miles through construction and past accidents.
But we arrived safely, despite nearly running out of gas, and are happily settled into our little home away from home!
By the time I got unpacked and made the grocery run, the light was fading over the Pacific Ocean. Here are two pelicans in silhouette. Can't wait to get out in the light tomorrow.
