Butterfly

" Love is like a butterfly, it settles upon you when you least expect it."


I was up early at the usual time and went to my favourite spot watching the sunrise and having an amazing time. I just cannot get enough of this beautiful scene. When it came to posting my blip for today the butterfly was too gorgeous not to make it my blip instead of the stunning sunrise.... I was working in the garden after my morning walk filling the green bin with clippings from the Ivy creeping along the house. Found this beautiful Monarch butterfly fluttering over my head. It would not leave me alone, so I got my camera out and started walking towards it snapping away. It landed on the flower and sat there for the whole time drinking in the nectar from the flower. I could not believe my luck. This is my very first closeup shot and it made my day.
