Art: St Margaret's House, Edinburgh

This former government building currently provides 200 workshops for independent artists in Edinburgh, including the photographer who took my official work profile picture.

I see from the local news, however, that there are plans to redevelop the site for a new hotel, offices, student accommodation, flats, and a 225-space car park. Where will the artists go then?

I took my blip on the way to meeting my book group pals in Portobello this evening. All but me were very enthusiastic about Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine. (My criticisms are noted in my blip for 15th March.) An unexpected bonus of the evening was to return home with a new addition to my shoal of glug jugs. This is an Easter present from Melissa :-)

Earlier in the day I had two visitors to the sickbay, both work friends: first Bruce, then Ella.
