An inspiring event

Tonight Gulliver played Blackbird for about 200 people at his school who were hosting the Speak Out speech competition which is part of the Jack Petchey foundation. He played beautifully and was billed as entertainment half way through the speeches, his friend Erin sang at the end while the judges were deciding the results, she was also excellent.
There were about 12 speeches on varied subjects ranging from the winning speech on the difficulties of being left handed in a right handed world, adoption, computer games should be considered art, inspirational quotes and Gulli’s friend Harry on the British sense of humour (he is pictured here with the Mayor).
It was very entertaining and thought provoking and great to see so many young people taking part in something so worthwhile, year 10 students had put on a delicious spread of sandwiches and cakes etc and tea and coffee.
Thankyou to Miss Bailey for asking Gulli to perform!

In other news my Protools isn’t working and I don’t know why.... grrrrr.
