Miserable day
and I just did a pile of ironing when the iron blew up :(
Today's blip is about Ralph Hedley who was born in Richmond, Yorkshire then the family moved to Newcastle.
I know nothing about Art but love his work as he painted everyday things.
This print is The Quayside, Newcastle.
The other two are postcards. One is his with the title Going Home.
I think if he had seen my relatives he might have painted them Good subjects ;)
The other postcard is titled Washhouse from an Exhibition by one of the Pitmen painters.
That is at Woodhorn Colliery Museum a brilliant place.
