FARADAY CAGE?

I am seriously electronically challenged & haven't a clue what a Faraday Cage does, or why, or how, but apparently this is the de luxe version!

This is the interior of the switch box of the Gibson SG copy that CC is producing for a client. Normally he would give it a quick spray of graphite -  but this sticky-backed copper foil is by far the best.
