British Railways

Hiding under the linoleum in MaggieD's Mums house we found an old Hamilton Advertiser newspaper. I was quite amused at all the day and evening excursions on offer from British Railways. And the prices, I need a time machine!
Historical note, my father used to write a regular column for the Hamilton Advertiser on topical subjects of the day. As a small boy I would sometimes accompany him to hand in his piece on a Wednesday. Used to find the Linotype machines fascinating.
