Rainy (Day 1053)

The weather has been rubbish today. I headed off to what should have been a simple job in Sandwick this morning as the wind wound itself up to properly horrible. It brought thick, cold rain with it. At work I spent a while outside looking for an elusive stop cock. When I finally got the water turned off, the job was really straight forward. 
I was home in time for lunch and a very wet walk at Lyde with my beautiful wife and the woofers, then zoomed off to a job in Stromness, then another little job on the way home. The last job of the day was a broken shower, and, in an effort to identify the bits I will need to fix the shower, I brought it home. It has a setting on it for "tepid". Who on earth wants a tepid shower?
