Here's my new gizmo, designed to take a blood sugar reading every minute of every fortnight and to save me having to repeatedly perforate my fingertips. Actually it's a tissue glucose reading but who's quibbling? I'm also not too sure that I've stuck it in the right part of my arm; if it falls off tonight I'll know for sure.
We've just been out for a curry at the newly reopened, newly refurbished Lancers whose new business model seems to involve removing all the cheaper dishes from the menu. But that's OK because our meals were fab, that's the most important thing. And they sell Joker IPA which is a definite plus. Hadn't had a good goat curry in years - the bar has now been reset!
