THE INDIAN GATE MONUMENT.

My main blip is. The IndianGate in a national monument if India. Situated in the heart of New Delhi, it was designed by sir Edwin Luyens, It commemorates the 10,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Army during the world war. Te monument bears the names of more than 13,516 British and Indian soldiers killed in the Northwest Frontiers in Afghan war of 1919

My extra is Qutab Minar is a soaring, 73 m-high tower of victory, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak immediately after the defeat of Delhi's last Hindu kingdom. The tower has five distinct storeys, each marked by a projecting balcony and tapers from a 15 m diameter at the base to just 2.5 m at the top.

The round building is Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque
Considered as the oldest mosque in India and also called the Great Mosque of Delhi, the Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque was built by Qutub-ud-din-Aibak. Mnay parts were added to this mosque by his successors too. This mosque is probably the only example of the Khureed style of architecture in India. The mosque was built from remaining materials from the destruction of the 27 Hindu and Jain Temple. Columns and arches use statues of Hindu gods and goddesses like Hanuman, Radhakrishna, Sarawati, Sun God and other statues similar to those found in Ajanta and Ellora caves.  Portions added by Iltutmish like the prayer halls had a stronger Islamic influence indicating the rise in power of the Muslim rulers
