A day out

Three of us used our bus passes and went through to Stromness today, to collect new goods for the craft shop.  Nearly an hour and a half each way, so I took my sock knitting with me!  

In front of me was this lady, with a well secured bunnet!  Can't remember when I last saw a hat pin in use, just the think for the blustery weather though!

Also spied the lobster in extras, carved into a paving slab at the top of the pier.  I thought is might be one of several, but I couldn't find any others.  A lovely day, we sat and ate sandwiches in the sun before heading home.
