Floating building work

A trip into town to meet friends for lunch at the Windmill Inn, very nice! I had forgotten my bus pass so had to pay to get into town and decided to walk home. Spotted this floating platform on the Foss to the side of the Blue Bicycle restaurant on Fossgate which has been closed since the major floods a couple of years ago. I have enjoyed some wonderful meals there over the years so now looking forward to the re-opening a few months hence. The extra is a view of Rowntree Wharf where I used to work in offices which were on the top floor to begin and then we moved to the larger space on the ground floor.
