The Assembly Rooms of The Church of Scotland dominates the skyline on a walk from Princes Street to The Royal Mile en route to inaugural Food Standards Scotland conference
Keynote speaker Sir Kenneth Calman reflected on the big issues facing the food industry, bad diet and obesity being number one.
The mainly youthful audience were intrigued to learn Sir Ken was brought up on a daily dose of cod liver oil (to avoid rickets).
He later revealed a diet he used last year and managed to lose a stone....what was it? ....a simple diet....”Eat Less” , he said
