day 22 - inspirational.

I look at the sea and it takes me back to when I wore another man's shoes. 

I looked at the sea on holidays as a young child. I always wanted to go beyond the horizon and a few years later with the Royal Navy I travelled the world.

It was not just the destination that took my imagination but the journey to get there. I still look with anticipation at the journey to get somewhere, so for a road trip is my idea of heaven.
