Getting into focus

It isn't quite sharp enough.. how often have you said this when you look at an image that you've just taken. Well cameras are inanimate objects which only do what the wo/man behind the lens tells them to. 
That instruction part is no longer simply "point and shoot" but involves a whole range of adjustments before the object is ready to be captured!
Sometimes the best laid plans of mice and men etc etc

So, the lesson for me,,, is that sometimes things are blurry and no matter what we do they can't seem to come into proper focus. We want to "fix" the image to conform to our ideal of beauty or art... as we do with people. "If only they would ....." 
But life is mostly lived out of focus and we are rarely gifted with the calibration we need to sharpen things up. We need learn to live in this tension because maybe, just maybe, there is an alterative more beautiful image hiding in that blur!
