The last time I blipped Saeed he’d just saved the day and stepped in at short notice to deliver a yoga session at last October’s Mental Health Festival, when the original instructor let us down. This year, we’ve booked him early for October and we’re also hoping he’ll deliver mindfulness and meditation sessions at some other events we’ve got planned over the next few months.

We’ll also be working on some musical events as, wearing another hat, Saeed’s the main mover and shaker behind Liverpool SoulFest. So, we’re currently cooking up some collaborations on that front too…

It was good to have a brief catch-up with him this afternoon.

This evening I enjoyed some music of another genre entirely, when I caught a documentary about the proto-grunge/Riot Grrrl band, L7 - showing at Lovelock’s as part of this year’s ‘Doc ‘n’ Roll’ festival https://youtube.com/watch?v=D3qFKB78uic Terrific stuff, including some hilarious ‘home movie’ clips shot by the band over the years.
