In other news, I went to the dentist for a check up, scale and polish, and she was very pleased with the state of my teeth and gums! Hoorah!

Took a long time to get home along the narrow, windy road to our village. Two buses ahead of us had to pass one bus coming the other way, which involved much reversing by a string of cars and the bus in one direction, and much waiting and creeping forward by the buses and a string of cars in the other direction. Most of the traffic was on that road because they were diverted from the coast road. Slapton Line is still closed following the destruction of the road by wind-driven sea in the storms a few weeks ago.
