Top swan

I worked at home today so had to get a photo during a brief excursion up to the Chinese supermarket.

It was brilliantly sunny, but also fairly chilly. As I was coming back up the Shore on the bus I saw a swan flying down the river keeping only just above the water and then saw his target; another swan of course, lurking by the Bernard Street bridge. I lost sight of them in getting off the bus, and by the time I'd crossed the road there was only the resident Leith swan imperiously sailing up towards the swing bridge, presumably checking that the interloper wasn't hiding round a corner.
