I arrived in Brussels via Eurostar train to find the taxi drivers were all on strike, protesting about Uber. It was chaos !  I saw more taxis than ever before but they were just parked or driving slowly and not taking customers. The roads were blocked and traffic jams all over. Oh, the joys of travelling.

Getting to my office proved more problematic than going direct to the hotel, so I checked in and resorted to having Skype conference calls. Taxis restarted in the evening and guess what, you couldn't find one !
