Frozen Wastes of North, North America

No idea what I was looking down on but yesterday was a big travelling day: almost 2 hours car then train, 11 hours planes, 6 hours car. Now happily ensconced with a large coffee, at the American family's home in Iowa. The youngest 2 grandchildren are off to school, the eldest will come home from college to see us at the weekend. It is 2014 since we have seen them all together! It is so difficult when they are so far away.

I am giving myself a holiday from commenting for the next 10 days whilst we are here. I know you won't mind.
