I’m seeing you in a different light
and don’t know
what to make of your shadow.

I’d say something's not right.
Just look at the way
you’re standing today –

shoulder slightly raised,
face averted from me.
An expression you don’t want me to see?

Why? Did I make an offensive remark?
Do you intend to enlighten me?
Or are you going to keep me in the dark?
