Symbol of hope

I took this picture when on my school trip in Paris. The candles were a memorial feature in the Notre-Dame Cathedral; people lit candles in memory of different people that have died within their family. I lit mine for my Uncle Nick, two of my Great Grandmothers and two of my Great Grandfather's. I have edited this picture so that the candles are the focus point by selecting them and sharpening them and then inversing the selection so that I can use 'gaussian blur' on the rest of the photograph.
