We have Liftoff

The town is buzzing with excitement as today is the first day of Wardbirds Over Wanaka.  We went to the lake to see the air display, including this Catalina, which landed, then took off from the lake.

The first extra is the photo that little 'h' took when we parked by the side of the road at the airport to see what was happening there yesterday.  Pretty good, I thought.

I have my cousin and his wife staying with me at the moment, always good to catch up with family.
