Frozen toes on a frosty day

Today I forgot my work boots at home. So I worked wearing running shoes which I usually wear when driving to work and back home. I had worked about two minutes when I stepped into a puddle and got my shoe wet. It was below freezing the whole day so my feet were freezing. Luckily I had a few extra pairs of dry socks and during breaks I could go into car, start the engine and warm up my feet. So it wasn't as bad as you might think. But I sure could've picked a better time of year to forget the work boots:)
