Bamburgh castle

A brief but impressive stop on our journey from north to south. Bamburgh castle never ceases to delight. Imposing on its high promontory, I wonder what it was like here during that shocking easterly wind and snow recently. The sand dunes are enormous and we wandered through them to the wonderful long sandy coastline beyond. Flossie loved her scamper along a different beach. Now in Norfolk checking out another coastline! Fun holidays!!
