Working late
Roeddwn i'n gweithio yn hwyr heno oherwydd fy mod i wedi cymryd amser bant ddydd Mawrth.
Yn ystod y diwrnod, cawson y fy ngalwad teleffon Cymraeg llwyddiannus cyntaf erioed. Galwodd cyd-weithiwr i drafod am broblem ac roedd e'n dechrau siarad yn Gymraeg. Fel arfer rydw i'n gofyn i ddefnyddio Saesneg, ond heddiw penderfynais i drio defnyddio Cymraeg. Doedd y sgwrs ddim yn gymhleth, ond roeddwn i'n teimlo'n hapus i gwblhau'r sgwrs mewn Cymraeg.
Yn y noswaith symudon ni piano. Roedd e biano Nor'dzin, ond dydy hi ddim yn canu fe. Mae hi'n canu'r fiolín nawr. Felly gwnaethon ni cynnig fe am ddim a heno daeth dau ddyn yn dod i gasglu fe. Mae'n mynd i gartref da.
I worked late tonight because I had taken time off on Tuesday.
During the day, I had the first ever successful Welsh telephone call. A colleague called to discuss a problem and he started speaking in Welsh. I usually ask to use English, but today I decided to try using Welsh. The conversation was not complicated, but I felt happy to complete the conversation in Welsh.
In the evening we moved a piano. It was Nor'dzin's piano, but she does not play it. She plays the violin now. So we offered it for free and tonight two men came to collect it. It's going to a good home.
