No Shadow

Will you miss your shadow
Basking in the glories of God?
Will you remember you used to have one
Once your feet no longer stand on sod?
The earth, moon and stars
Reflect heaven's shine
Our life, a mere shadow, peers
At the blessings scattered
For all to share.
Is it any wonder,
That loved ones never reappear?
So consumed in the heavenlies -
Inexhaustible Presence
Rapturous with light and ease.
No shadow can address.
No shadow, please.
