Orchid Surprise

I checked on google this morning for a suitable location for some fresh air, a walk, and flowers for BikerBear's ongoing Flower Friday Challenge.  I was also keeping one eye on the forecast, and not wishing to deviate too far from my route to Mum's for the weekend!   Nothing was inspired me until I wandered into the hall and spotted that my orchid had decided to flower again.  So I quickly set up my "indoor flower studio" for some shots.

Technical bit: shot with a macro lens, black velvet background and white card as refectors using natural light only. A crop and light edit in Lightroom completes the image.
