Valletta

Spent this morning wandering round the city of Valletta.

N's dad spent much of his childhood in Floriana, just outside the city walls. It was good to think of him here, although it must have been far less busy!

We walked around the city, the cathedral and the walls until we were hungry and stopped for lunch beside St. John's Co-Cathedral.

Had a little swim in the hotel pool later on... and a well-needed sleep in the afternoon.
