Apricot Petticoats

When Mr P came back from his run l drove over to see our friend B who is recovering from her operation last week.
I took some mini pastries to have with our coffee, a container of home made leek and potato soup for her lunch and some slices of the lemon and lime drizzle traybake that l made yesterday evening.
We had a lovely couple of hours and l said l hope to go and see her again next week.
When l got home we had some of the soup that was left and we really enjoyed it, enjoyed the cake too.
It’s still bitterly cold here but it’s good to see the daffodils are out, l really like these with their apricot trumpets which always remind me of petticoats.
