One a Penny, Two a Penny....

.................Hot Cross Buns.
They cost a bit more than two a penny nowadays though. They used to sell hot cross buns only on Good Friday, but they seem to be available all year round now, so they don't seem as special.
We were visited this afternoon by some old friends who belong to a diving club not far from where we used to live. Although we belonged to a different diving club, we often used to go on joint-club dives together, and have known them for about 40 years. They are down here to do some diving out of Lyme Regis over the weekend, but it doesn't look as if they will be launching the boat in this miserable weather. It was lovely to see them again, as we last saw them before we moved house last September.
